Listening to “Bows and Arrows” by Immoor while packing.  Spent the weekend saying, “goodbye” to a few friends, with more fond farewells to follow.  I can’t believe I will be leaving in just 5 days.  It still doesn’t seem real.  I keep having this fear that my car is going to breakdown (or a tire will go out) somewhere between Dallas and Seattle.  I pray that this does not happen, and that it will be a rather safe and uneventful time on the road. 

In an unrelated note, we’re in for a rainy week in Dallas while Seattle is clear and sunny.  Irony.
